Speedweld

Speedweld is a Cairns-based metal fabrication company providing quality structural steel, stainless steel and aluminium welding services throughout North Queensland, Cape York and the Torres Strait. The aim for this design was to create a simple, strong and masculine looking logo that encompasses welding and metal fabrication. The logo design features a bold font with a "racing/speedy" feel, a stylised welding man, brushed metal textures and metallic screws to give it that final industrial touch. Speedweld was selected as a finalist in the 2011 Queensland Multimedia Awards in the "Best Identity / Logo - Service" category.
