Balay is a Cairns based building design studio with a focus on sustainable design in Tropical North Queensland. It's the landscape of this tropical region, combined with the warm climatic conditions of the Far North, that defines the core element of Balay's design philosophy: designing buildings that complement their environment. Balay required a new logo design and corporate branding that shows what the company is about - "Tropical Building Design", using a Thai/Balinese feel, warm, beachy colours and visual cues, such as a thatched hut and a cool blue wave.
