Travel Experience required a new user-friendly website that would be eye-catching, inspire a feeling of trust and enable users to view the many unique and exciting holidays that the the team have on offer. Initially most people only want to see what you have on offer that is going to meet their needs. If the product interests them, then they will look at your branding, logo and who you are. With this in mind, we designed the the Home page, or “shop front”, with a clean and un-cluttered look and feel, easy navigation, a great hero-shot and a good clear message. This creates a positive emotion and connection, which is essential for successful business today. We also designed and developed an online banner advertising campaign for analytics. Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn - Visual Obsession integrated social media with the website to further engage the community and drive traffic to it. Glass Innovation is a Cairns company specialising in unique high-end glazing for speciality shops, Cairns businesses, high rise & upmarket housing. The owner required a website that he could direct customers and potential clients to so they could discuss various styles and products. The owner also needed a products and fittings section for specialised glass fittings which they will progressively grow over time.

Due to the unique nature of the product, our Cairns web design team decided to let images do the talking and keep text to a minimum. Each section of the site is simply an image gallery, animated with JavaScript. The curved glass 3D design was created by Visual Obsession's Cairns Design team to add depth to a “clear glass” image.

Visual Obsession, as a Cairns website developer and social media agency, was contracted by Why Not Tours to develop a fully integrated website including the ability to book and organize tours online. Using the Why Not Tours website, customers are able to enquire about a booking, have the ability to add members to their tour and can also purchase customized merchandise packs to include on their trip. In addition to this functionality, Social Media is set to play a major role in the website features. Tour bookings are made social by including the ability to invite friends to join them on their tour: via Facebook, SMS or email and includes group chat functionality. Port of Townsville provides all of North Queensland with a world-class gateway for commerce and trade. It continues to be one of the state's fastest growing ports. In the year 2004/2005 almost ten million tonnes of cargo passed over their wharves. Visual Obsession developed the Port of Townsville website - a content management system using Mambo OS, and incorporating unique features such as a Shipping Schedule and Statistics, as well as a photo gallery, dynamic site map, and events calendar. The themes are colour coded depending on the information and category. Visual Obsession developed an interactive CD and DVD-ROM to provide information to public and industry. Both the CD and DVD-ROM were highly graphical and featured animated menus, music, sound FX and an introduction including a slide show of images and 3D animation of a ship.

Zilch is a 4 piece band from Innisfail North QLD, their music is a combination of acoustic, heavy rock riffs, alternative folk style and hip hop, not to mention the in-your-face lyrics! The website for Motor Yacht Eendracht was produced with luxury and appeal in mind. The photographs displayed across the various pages have been carefully selected to demonstrate differing aspects of the vessel, inside and out. They were also chosen for their bright, contrasting colours, to stand out from the subdued background of the website. These images are all clickable, with javascript powered popups, allowing website visitors to view enlarged versions of each photograph. The images contained in the main header of each page vary, and were especially picked out to enhance the content in each page with a relevant visual reference, displayed in large, widescreen format.

Quinkan and Regional Cultural Centre

Laura based not-for-profit organisation, Quinkan Regional Cultural Centre wanted to work with a professional website development company sensitive to the unique needs and resources of remote Cape York indigenous communities and councils.

Visual Obsession is currently working on a new, modern website containing maps, travel tips, historical and tourist information about Laura as well as an online store selling original Aboriginal rock art and paintings by artists from Laura and neighbouring Cooktown and Cape York communities.

Quinkan Regional Cultural Centre’s online store will also sell tickets to the internationally renowned, bi-annual Laura Dance Festival.

To showcase different points in her career, Tammy needed the website to display images and videos. Earlville Veterinary Surgery

Earlville Veterinary Surgery is a Vet Clinic in Cairns, providing medical assistance to pets and advice to pet owners across the entire Cairns region. Visual Obsession provided Earlville Vets with a complete website redesign and Online Marketing campaign to the clients specifications.

The website redesign borrowed heavily from the Clinics already established 'Dalmatian Spots' branding style, which is currently used on the Clinic itself, as well as company vehicles. Visual Obsession continued this style onto the website, filling the background out with white and black spots for decoration. The animated header includes photos of Dalmatians and other pet photos submitted by Earlville Vets.

Other than an outstanding design, the website also features a contact form, photo gallery and animated header.

Kasa Por Yarn is a Queensland Government funded radio play aired on radio 4MW in the Torres Strait and stars indigenous silver Logie winner, Aaron Fa’aoso.

Visual Obsession helped Kasa Por Yarn widen their radio play’s audience and reach with a dynamic, viral, social media campaign incorporating a Word Press blog and the social networks most favoured in the target indigenous communities. Visual Obsession created Facebook, Bebo, Twitter and YouTube fan interaction profiles, developed a direct SMS marketing interface and promoted Kasa Por Yarn’s social media pages and blog with targeted Facebook advertising and direct SMS marketing.

Visual Obsession’s Kasa Por Yarn social media campaign has been an enormous success gaining over 2000 fans on Facebook alone within the first week of launch.
