Teacher Placement
Visual Obsession is a proud supporter of the government initiative “Teacher Industry Placement Project”. Visual Obsession was one of six companies in Queensland selected to train a teacher in a variety of industries including Information Communication Technologies (ICT). Through the Teacher Industry Placement Project, schools will include new Information Communication Technologies into core education programs, alongside English and Maths.
Jason Evert
Visual Obsession agreed to support the ‘Smart Classrooms Teacher Industry Placement’ trial through the Queensland Department of Education. The purpose of the project is to provide Jason Evert, a teacher at Yarrrabah State School the opportunity of being placed into an ICT business for up to four weeks to gain first-hand experience in the a specialist multi-media area within the ICT industry, to advance his technical knowledge and develop management and leadership skills.
