Database Development

A database is a way of storing data in a set of related tables. Storing the raw data in a database allows much greater flexibility in how the site displays that data. It also means that data only has to be updated once and maintained in one place. Visual Obsession has proven experience in database conceptualisation, design, development and management.

An example of a common use of a database is to store user details, e.g. First name, Last name, Email Address, Password, etc. This could be useful for a site that sends out a newsletter, or allows a user to login and see further information, or even a fully-fledged community site that allows a user to maintain a profile and network with other people.
